Bánh-Tráng Robotics
This project aims to investigate the unexpected intelligence and flexibility of everyday materials, specifically Vietnamese rice paper, with a focus on potential applications in the field of soft robotics.
By steaming the rice paper, the research team was able to create a controllable bending and folding mechanism.
The goal of this research is to understand the properties of rice paper that allow for this behavior, and to explore the potential for using this material in the development of soft robots.
This project has the potential to lead to new discoveries and innovations in the field of material science, engineering, and soft robotics.
